Michele McDonald, local historian, wrote an article for the Bragg Creek Historical Society that was a feature in the May 2019 High Country News. “Sailing in Bragg?” described the beginnings of the Bar Kay Cee Ranch.

Our heritage log home was the first building constructed on the property and remains to be the central meeting area for functions and events.
Paddling on Trout Lake
Deer Lake is the largest on the property along with 3 smaller lakes namely, Mirror, Trout and Lake Placid. Deer Lake hosts the majority of water/lake sports throughout the entire year.
Summer Pool Opening
The BKC swimming pool facility is available for members from June to September which includes change rooms, showers, washrooms as well as a sauna.
Original Barn.
Horse riding facilities include an original barn, outdoor arena, tack rooms and riding trails throughout the property.
Sports Court constructed in 2008.
Basketball, volleyball or any other sports imaginable can be enjoyed on this sports court surface.
Wildflowers throughout the property.
Our natural surroundings provide a playground for any kind of enthusiast and is used for hiking, skiing, riding, cycling, fishing, frisbee golf…just to name a few.
